Toss us the keys and pack your bags, we’re heading to Palm Desert! If you only have 24 hours to spend in this oasis, we’ve rounded up great places to eat, shop and play from dawn till dusk! Whether you’re looking to indulge in a spa and shopping spree or eat your way through the best restaurants, we’ve planned a day you’ll be reliving through Instagram for weeks afterward.

7 a.m.: Relax and Play

Wilma & Frieda serves up some great comfort food and original dishes for breakfast—especially delicious is Kim’s Banana Caramel French Toast, made with brioche thick-cut bread. Our stomachs are grumbling already.

Grab your gals for an organic lunch at Luscious Lorraine’s. Our favorites are the Asian Tofu Salad and Turkey Chipotle Sandwich (with gluten-free bread!).

Palm Desert’s Art in Public Places brings gorgeous artworks into the city’s common areas. Take a docent-led walking tour to check out the amazing sculptures on foot!

3 p.m.: Find Your Fashion Favorites

Don’t forget your spare suitcase! Treat yourself at The Shops on El Paseo for designer boutiques including Bottega Veneta. You’ll find tried-and-true stores including Anthropologie at The Gardens on El Paseo. For treasure hunters, head to Delaney’s Antiques to find your next big score!

5 p.m.: Grab a Bite

The black-and-white patterns are worthy of a few Instagram shots alone, but this eatery is more than just a pretty face. If you love a good rack of lamb or falafel, Evzin is your go-to for dinner.

8 p.m.: Rest Up, Boutique Style

Check into Hotel Paseo, within walking distance to many shops on El Paseo The trendy boutique hotel has luxurious rooms, the rejuvenating Spa LaLe’ and a lively restaurant—AC3 Restaurant + Bar.

10 p.m.: Nightcap
