COVID-19 is the infectious disease caused by the novel coronavirus. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and rapidly evolving public health guidelines,the City has declared a local emergency in Palm Desert.
Palm Desert cares about the health and well-being of its visitors, residents, business community, and staff. City Hall and other municipal facilities are closed and will remain so pending a public health risk reevaluation. This includes the City’s Visitor Services, although we are monitoring the chat function of this site.
