The American Express PGA Golf Tournament

The PGA Tour returns to the Coachella Valley for The American Express golf tournament, a 72-hole event featuring a field of the world’s best professional golfers. Since its introduction in 1960 as the Palm Springs Golf Classic, the tournament has generated more than $60 million for numerous nonprofit organizations dedicated to supporting Coachella Valley residents.
The American Express tournament will be played Jan. 18-21 at three desert courses, the Stadium and Nicklaus Tournament courses at PGA West and La Quinta Country Club. The American Express Golf Tournament is also one of the biggest concerts in the valley with Keith Urban performing on January 19th and Train performing on January 20th.
