Memorial Day Flower Drop

Looking for a meaningful way to commemorate Memorial Day? Come out to the Palm Springs Air Museum for their Memorial Day Flower Drop & Air Fair. Join the museum as they drop 3,000 red and white carnations from a B-25 Mitchell bomber to commemorate those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Flight exhibitions and activities will be held throughout the day, with the special program and flyover beginning at 1 p.m.  Visitors may take home a carnation after the drop, and are encouraged to bring a portable chair, and to carpool as the parking lots quickly fill up.
