More than 2,000 local humanitarians will come together to end the HIV epidemic, expand healthcare access, and remember those friends and family members who we lost because of AIDS. The 2021 Desert AIDS Walk will be an in-person event Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, beginning at Ruth Hardy Park and following a route through downtown Palm Springs.

Howl-O-Ween at The Living Desert

Safely celebrate Howl-O-Ween at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. Children are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes and explore the Zoo for a socially-distant and family-friendly adventure. The zoo has adapted the day’s activities to include a self-guided scavenger hunt, and be sure to grab a Scales, Claws, and Teeth, Oh My! program to see your favorite animal receive a special pumpkin enrichment experience during your visit.

Palm Desert Visitor Services

While Palm Desert City Hall is open to people who wish to conduct business in person with City staff, Visitor Services is located in City Hall’s North Wing which remains closed to the public at this time. Visitor packets with brochures and maps are available to be picked up at City Hall’s Development Services entrance.

If you need advice or directions, our friendly and knowledgeable staff is available by phone, email or the chat function in the lower right hand of your screen to answer any questions you may have.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
