The Pacific Symphony is the largest orchestra formed in the U.S. in the last 50 years and is recognized as an outstanding ensemble making strides on both the national and international scene, as well as in its own community of Orange County. The Symphony offers repertoire ranging from the great orchestral masterworks to music from today’s most prominent composers.
In Don’t Monkey with Broadway, two-time Tony Award winner Patti LuPone explores, through indelible interpretations of classic Broadway show tunes by the likes of Richard Rodgers, Lorenz Hart, Jule Styne, Stephen Schwartz, Charles Strouse, Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin, how her life-long love affair with Broadway began and her concern for what the Great White Way is becoming today.
Originally from San Diego, Chelsea Chen is a graduate of The Julliard School, and Yale University Artist Diploma program. Her dynamic playing has taken her to the far corners of the world.
The Desert Circuit established its roots in Indio, California, in the mid-1990s, and in 2007 the shows moved to what is now known as the Desert International Horse Park in Thermal. The Desert Circuit is eight weeks of USEF Premier-rated Hunters and 5*/6* Jumpers running from mid-January through mid-March with one week off in mid-February. The circuit draws thousands of equestrians to the premier Southern California show grounds.
