Love live music? Enjoy touring public art and strolling through galleries? Been known to kick up your heels at a fun street party? Then join Palm Desert for First Weekend each month from November through May where events, festivals, live entertainment and more are the order of the day.
Beginning on Friday and continuing through Sunday at various Palm Desert venues, you can enjoy everything from El Paseo Cruise Night and concerts at the Palm Springs Art Museum in Palm Desert, to community art tours. There are a variety of fun and exciting things to do, including a “can’t miss” featured event each month.

Ready to swing? Well get out your dancing shoes as El Paseo turns into a rockin’ street party, featuring live music from the Swing Cats Big Band. To add to the experience we’ll have a beer garden, gourmet street food vendors, a car display and vendor booths. If the mood strikes you, you’re encouraged to wear your favorite vintage clothing from the 40s, 50s and 60s!
Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival

Each spring, wildflowers transform the Coachella Valley into a colorful canvas. Celebrate this beautiful season at the Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival with wildflower viewing, beautiful art, the Kids’ Zone, 5k trail fun run, and interpretive wildflower hikes, in addition to live music in the beer and wine garden.
