With plenty of private eyes, gangsters and femme fatales, the Arthur Lyons Film Noir Festival highlights the classics of a film genre that dominated American movie screens in the 1940s and 1950s. Founded in 2000 by the late mystery author and Palm Springs community leader Arthur Lyons, this unique festival features an eclectic mixture noir classics, forgotten gems, and not-available-on-DVD films shown on the big screen. Insightful movie introductions plus Q&A sessions with special guests and industry insiders add perspective to this cinematic retrospective.
