The Coachella Valley’s premier lecture series, Desert Town Hall, presented by the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation, is proud to present Walter Isaacson, the former president and CEO of the Aspen Institute, he also served as chairman and CEO of CNN, and was a managing editor at Time magazine.
An accomplished biographer, Isaacson has written acclaimed books on Leonardo da Vinci, Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein, Henry Kissinger, and, most recently, Nobel Prize winner Jennifer Doudna. He is also the co-author of The Wise Men: Six Friends and the World They Made. His definitive biography of Apple Co-founder Steve Jobs was published in 2011, becoming a New York Times and served as the inspiration for the movie Steve Jobs.
