Desert X is an exhibition conceptualized as a self-guided outdoor experience where you determine the start and end point of your journey. You can make a day of it to visit each site or visit as many sites as you choose – it’s all up to you.
The artists in the exhibition create instruments of self-awareness that make visible the forces that are exerted on the world: how our environments are designed, how life is lived, and the messages that are sent that reinforce systems that might or might not be beneficial for all.
