In her 6th show for this series Keisha D presents a celebration of Black History Month featuring iconic recording artist who forever changed the world of music with gospel, soul, rhythm & blues, & chart topping hits sung by one of the desert’s favorite entertainers. Keisha D can be heard at multiple venues each week, or starring in Palm Canyon Theater productions like; Hairspray, The Who’s Tommy, and Xanadu. She also donates time to numerous charities for which she was honored with a plaque on the Walk Of Stars in downtown Palm Springs. For this show, Music Director PhillyJoe Littel will lead a band of local musicians TBA.
