John Stanley King

The Gardens on El Paseo presents The John Stanley King Band. King has won awards in every genre from Best Blues, Best Rock, Best Contemporary Adult and Best Jazz artist, but he is definitely going to rock it up at The Gardens on El Paseo!

This concert is benefiting The Family YMCA of the Desert. They are the largest provider of licensed childcare in the Coachella Valley, with facilities in Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, La Quinta, and Indio. They have served over 750 local children and families each day at their nine sites. The Palm Desert Aquatic Center, owned by the City of Palm Desert, is managed by the YMCA, and sees additional children, families, and community members throughout the year.

The YMCA provides a variety of programs, camps, and other events and activities for members of our community. The primary focus of the Y is to reinforce caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility while also helping kids to develop social skills, confidence, leadership, and fitness.
