- Owns a chain of hot dog stalls called Oggie Doggie; the first stall was launched in 2005
- Was named the Entertainer of the Year by the Aliw Awards Foundation Inc

- com, an online music store which he set up together with The Dawn’s Jett Pangan and other business partners in 2012
- Founded his own talent management company A Team (Alcasid Talent Entertainment Artist Management), together with Paolo Bustamante and Cathy Nazareno in 2014
- In 2015, donated his talent fee from the MuSIKATin concert to the families of the Fallen 44, the PNP-SAF members killed during an encounter in Mamasapano
