This year’s museum Pride events will offer a moment of reflection and conversation, while embodying the resistive power of partying.
Picking up on the City of Palm Springs’ Pride theme of Say Gay! in response to the ongoing attacks on the LGBTQ+ community across the United States, the museum will feature a roundtable of local LGBTQIA+ notables including Mayor Lisa Middleton, Dr. Jonathan Paul Higgins and Monique “Fauxnique” Jenkinson.
They will gather with other leaders and attendees to spill the tea and to adamantly Say Gay! The tea will be followed by a T-dance in the atrium.
Opening Tea Reception: 2:00 – 2:30 p.m.
T-Party Say Gay! Roundtable Discussion: 2:30 – 4:00 p.m.
T-Dance: 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
