The annual Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival returns in March with a mix of online activities and individualized outdoor challenges designed to raise awareness of the Coachella Valley’s many wildflowers while encouraging people to explore and support the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument.
Desert X is a free art installation event with artwork exhibited at multiple locations throughout the Coachella Valley. Desert X explores the desert as both a place and idea, acknowledging the realities of people who reside here and the political, social, and cultural contexts that shape their stories.
The American Documentary and Animation Film Festival (AmDocs) celebrates and promotes documentary film--and the independent filmmakers who bring knowledge and awareness through their stories about real people and issues.
