Join the Palm Springs Black History Committee for the 33rd annual Palm Springs Black History Parade. The parade will be held at downtown Palm Springs, followed by a town fair with live entertainment, cultural booths, food vendors and kid-friendly activities.

The Palm Springs Pride Parade draws approximately 60,000 spectators to the palm tree-lined streets to cheer and support local organizations, activists, and themed floats along historic Palm Canyon Dr. The parade steps off at 10am in the Uptown Design District travels south through downtown.
With signature floats adorned in thousands of colorful holiday lights and big Macy’s-style balloons, the Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade is a family-friendly, crowd-pleasing annual event. This unique parade is a great way to celebrate the spirit and joy of the holiday season.
In celebration of Black History Month, the Palm Springs Black History Committee and the City of Palm Springs James O. Jessie Desert Highland Unity Center is proud to announce the "35th Annual City of Palm Springs Black History Month Parade and Town Fair."
The free picnic, which is billed by the city as a chance to celebrate Palm Spring's 50 neighborhoods and learn about organizations and resources available in the city, will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ruth Hardy Park.

The Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade kicked off in the early 1990’s along Palm Canyon Drive and has been held every year since on the first Saturday in December — becoming a much-loved holiday tradition in downtown Palm Springs!
One of the desert’s most fun and colorful events returns on Sunday, October 29, when scores of decorated carts, floats, and marching bands will head down world famous El Paseo for the annual Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade.
