The PGA Tour returns to the Coachella Valley for The American Express golf tournament, a 72-hole event featuring a field of the world’s best professional golfers. Since its introduction in 1960 as the Palm Springs Golf Classic, the tournament has generated more than $60 million for numerous nonprofit organizations dedicated to supporting Coachella Valley residents.
The Desert Circuit established its roots in Indio, California, in the mid-1990s, and in 2007 the shows moved to what is now known as the Desert International Horse Park in Thermal.
