A selection of short films will be available for screening on the festival's website for free from June 16-22, 2020. Virtual classes and panels with industry guests will also be available during the same dates, 2020 as part of the ShortFest Forum.
The Wild & Scenic Film Festival inspires environmental activism and a love for nature — through film. The festival puts forth a call to action, encouraging festival-goers to learn more about what they can do to save our threatened planet.

During this unprecedented time the YMCA has created the VIRTUAL “Y Be Fit PD Challenge” in partnership with the City of Palm Desert. Please join the Family YMCA of the Desert in this year's VIRTUAL event to help continue programming supporting the children and families of the Coachella Valley. Starting October 4th, you will have 20 days to cover 20 miles in however many runs, walks, cycles or swims you like; wherever you like and whenever you like!
