Safely celebrate Howl-O-Ween at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. Children are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes and explore the Zoo for a socially-distant and family-friendly adventure. The zoo has adapted the day’s activities to include a self-guided scavenger hunt, and be sure to grab a Scales, Claws, and Teeth, Oh My! program to see your favorite animal receive a special pumpkin enrichment experience during your visit.
WildLights will return to The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens – with a spring twist! Nightly, March 15-28, 2021, WildLights of Spring, will delight guests of all ages with light displays, delicious fare, and memorable moments.
The Living Desert is proud to host the only royal event welcoming both princesses and superheroes. Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress as your favorite fairy tale or fantasy character and enjoy entertainment, arts and crafts, games, food and drink specials and more. When the clock strikes noon, the Toad-ally Royal Tea Party begins.
Ring in the New Year at our "Roaring 20's Old Hollywood" New Year's Eve party. Celebrate the 2020's at our throwback party to the 1920's with classic and modern twists like tray-passed appetizers, a 3-course plated dinner packed with your favorite 20's themed foods, animal encounters and live entertainment. Watch the ball drop live from New York at 9pm and then hit the dance floor with our DJ until 10pm.
