The annual Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival returns in March with a mix of online activities and individualized outdoor challenges designed to raise awareness of the Coachella Valley’s many wildflowers while encouraging people to explore and support the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument.
Palm Desert’s Art Documentary Film Series wraps up its 13th season with an online screening and discussion of Leonora Carrington: The Lost Surrealist. British surrealist Leonora Carrington was a key part of the surrealist movement during its heyday in Paris and yet, until recently, remained a virtual unknown in the country of her birth.

When the ANA Inspiration returns in April, it will mark the 50th anniversary of this important major LPGA tournament at the Dinah Shore Tournament course at Mission Hills Country Club, but without ticketed spectators in attendance. Even non-golfers know this tournament, made famous by Amy Alcott's jump into Poppie's Pond in 1988, a celebratory act repeated by champions ever since.
Join The Gardens on El Paseo when they host Hop into Spring- Photos with the Easter Bunny. Young visitors will have an opportunity to meet and have their photo taken with the Easter Bunny while donating to a great cause.
The YMCA of the Desert invites you to drive, walk or bike down El Paseo to enjoy their Drive By Egg Hunt. Large, wooden cut out Easter eggs will decorate the street, and will be easily visible by car or on foot.
